LEESBURG – A woman who has not yet been identified by Leesburg Police was airlifted to the hospital after being run over by a pickup at Cottom’s Plaza in Leesburg.

According to witnesses, the woman may have had a seizure and collapsed in the parking lot in front of the Metro PCS store and landed behind a white Dodge pickup truck.

The driver of the truck did not notice that she was behind his vehicle when he exited the store and got into his truck. It wasn’t until he felt a bump while backing out that he realized what had happened.
