Woman Arrested After Threatening Two People with a BB Gun

WILDWOOD – 29-year-old, Jeniffer Agosta Acosta was arrested Monday night after she allegedly threatened two people with a CO2 powered BB pistol at the Wildwood Citgo station on State Road 44.

The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. Monday night. Acosta was not at the scene when police arrived but Sumter County Deputies were able to locate her driving down County Road 466A. During a search of her vehicle, Deputies found the CO2 powered BB pistol as well as small amounts of cocaine and marijuana.

Acosta was arrested and booked in the Sumter County Jail on 2 felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, 1 felony count of possession of a controlled substance and 1 misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana.

She remains in the Sumter County Jail on an $8,000 bond.
