WalMarts Throughout Central Florida Will Close at 4 pm Thursday

CENTRAL FLORIDA – Walmart announced that their stores will be closing at 4:00 pm on Thursday to allow employees to prepare for Hurricane Matthew and will remain closed Friday as well.

Last customers will be allowed in at 3:00 pm. Customers in the store by that time will be given until 4:00 pm to finish shopping before Walmart locks its doors.

Other retail stores such as Best Buy in Lady Lake will also close early. Best Buy will close Thursday at 1:00 pm and have not announced any hours for Friday.

If you have not completed your shopping to prepare for Hurricane Matthew, it is highly recommended to do it as soon as possible as more retail stores will be closing up as the day progresses and Matthew gets closer.
