THE VILLAGES – Detectives with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office are searching for two suspects who were seen leaving the WalMart on County Road 466 in The Villages with an unpaid pressure washer and a portable air tank last Thursday.

Deputies attempted to stop the suspects from leaving but were unsuccessful due to the suspects’ erratic driving. The suspect fled the scene in a maroon Nissan Altima.

Detectives say the suspects match the description of the suspects involved in two other thefts. One at the same WalMart on County Road 466 on July 25th and the other at the Bushnell WalMart on August 5th. Surveillance footage of the Bushnell WalMart theft shows the suspects leaving in a blue Chevy SUV.

Officials are asking for anyone who may have any information or that can identify the suspects to contact Detective Joshua Greenwood at (352)689-4612 or anonymously by calling Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477)
