Suspect Arrested After Allegedly Robbing Chase Bank in Ocala

OCALA — Thursday afternoon Ocala Police Department responded to a bank robbery call at Chase Bank located at 2525 Southwest 42nd Street.

The suspect ran on foot from the bank causing nearby Trinity Catholic High School to go on brief lockdown.

The call was placed to dispatch at 2:13 p.m. and police had the suspect in custody at 2:20 p.m.

Trinity Catholic lockdown has since been lifted.

Officials are continuing to investigate the scene.

No injuries or outstanding suspects have been reported at this time.
