Sumter County SPCA Hosts “Meet & Greet” to Meet New Exec. Director

LAKE PANASOFFKEE — The Sumter County SPCA will be hosting a “Meet & Greet” to meet it’s new Executive Director Joe Sprague.

The event will be held on Friday, October 12th from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Sumter County Animal Shelter located at 994 CR 529A in Lake Panasoffkee.

No R.S.V.P. is necessary to attend the Meet & Greet. Mr. Sprague is excited to meet everyone that attends. Weather pending, refreshments will be available, as well as tours of the shelter.

If you are looking to adopt the shelter has many animals that need a loving home.

Its hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Kennel viewings are only allowed from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. during those days. The shelter is not open on Sundays.
