Sumter County Shelters to Open at 2pm Thursday

SUMTER COUNTY – Sumter County officials announced they will open two shelters for residents in preparation of Hurricane Matthew.

Shelters will open Thursday at 2:00 pm.

A special needs only shelter will be opened at the Wildwood Community Center located at 6500 County Rd 139 in Wildwood and another shelter will be open to the general public at the Sumter County Fairgrounds located at 7620 FL-471 in Webster.
