Silver Springs Water Park Robbed at Gunpoint

SILVER SPRINGS – Eyewitnesses report that two masked armed gunmen robbed Wild Waters Park in Silver Springs yesterday afternoon.

Reports say the  incident happened between 4:00 and 4:30 yesterday afternoon as the park was closing. One witness said that a gun was held to the head of a female employee during the robbery. and that the  suspects fled when police arrived in the parking lot. Marion County detectives were on the scene taking witness statements. Witnesses on the scene described one of the suspects as a black male in a gray hoodie with an american flag bandana on his face, carrying a small handgun.

Today is the last day of the Parks season.
