Parks & Trails to briefly close fields for regular maintenance

TAVARES — The multi-use soccer, football and baseball fields at the Minneola Athletic Complex will be closed due to ongoing field maintenance onWednesday, June 14 and Thursday, June 15 through 4 p.m. Softball and playground facilities will remain open during this time.

The multi-use soccer and football fields at East Lake Community Park will also be closed on Wednesday, June 14 and Thursday, June 15 through 4 p.m. Additionally, baseball and softball fields at East Lake will be closed Thursday, June 15 through Friday, June 16 until 4 p.m.

During this time, those wishing to use similar recreational facilities should consider the multi-use fields or softballs fields at PEAR Park Gateway, located at 2670 U.S. Highway 27, Leesburg, or the multi-use, soccer, softball and baseball fields at North Lake Community Park, located at 40730 Roger Giles Road, Umatilla.
