Leesburg Offices and Waste Collection Closes for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday

LEESBURG – City officials announced that City of Leesburg offices will be closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday and will resume regular hours on Tuesday, January 17.

Other services, such as garbage collection, recycling, bulk item collection, and yard waste collection will also not run on Monday for residential or commercial locations. Anyone who normally receives those services on Monday will receive them on Thursday, January 19.

Recyclables will be collected on the next following regular recycling day.

The Leesburg Library will also be closed and will reopen the following day during regular hours on Tuesday, January 17.
