Lake County Providing Sandbags for Tropical Storm Colin

The Lake County Florida Emergency Management team issued a notice on their Facebook page to inform residents that due to the anticipated flooding from Tropical Storm Colin, Fire Departments throughout Lake County will be handing out sandbags.

To find a participating Fire Department, check out their list here.

If you would like to volunteer and help fill sandbags, please contact the Fire Department.

To protect your home from flooding, stack sandbags around doors. Be sure to bring in any outdoor pets.
