Lake County Offers Free Pet Adoption Event

TAVARES, Fla. – “Adopt a pet, save the galaxy!”, says the Lak County Animal Shelter. Members of the shelter have teamed up with LEASH, Inc., and The 501st Legion, a Star Wars character club to invite you to their upcoming adoption event, “May the Fur be with You”.

The event, which will be held at the animal shelter on Saturday, October 14, will offer free pet adoptions as well as the opportunity to pose with some of your favorite Star Wars characters.

All pet adoptions are being sponsored by LEASH, Inc. and will be free for anyone wanting to take home a new furry family member.

Families can join in on the fun on Saturday, October 14 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Lake County Animal Shelter located at 28123 County Road 561 in Tavares.
