CLERMONT –  Elevate Lake, in partnership with Lake County Schools, Lake-Sumter State College, Lake Technical College and Beacon College, is hosting the 5th Annual Partners for Success: Skills Showcase. The event will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28 at the Clermont Arts & Recreation Center, 3700 S. U.S. Highway 27, Clermont.

The event’s goal is to connect business leaders with the future workforce through open dialogue focused on employment. Students and soon-to-be graduates trained in various technical trades will mix and mingle with business professionals during the forum.

“The Skills Showcase will offer an opportunity for local business owners and the future workforce to come together, learn from each other, and continue to develop a communitywide approach toward success,” said Erika Greene, interim director of the Agency for Economic Prosperity. “Businesses are encouraged to tour the students’ displays, ask questions and share their staffing needs and expectations.”
