Marion County Deputy Involved in Accident While Driving Patrol Car

MARION OAKS – A Marion County Deputy was involved in an accident early Monday morning while driving a patrol car.

Deputy W. Lowrey was driving the patrol car on Marion Oaks Boulevard at approximately 4:50 am Monday morning when they came up to 49-year-old Mitzi Seymour-Robinson at the intersection of County Road 484. Seymour-Robinson was in her 2008 Chevy Uplander when she pulled forward to check for traffic before merging onto County Road 484 and was struck by the right front bumper of Deputy Lowrey’s patrol vehicle.

Neither Seymour-Robinson nor Deputy Lowrey were injured in the accident.
