City of Groveland Hosts Public Forum on Charter Ammendments

GROVELAND — On Tuesday, October 23rd, from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. the city of Groveland will be hosting a voter forum at the Puryear building located at 243 South Lake Avenue in Groveland.

The voter forum is public so an invitation is not needed to attend.

The forum is in regards to five proposed charter amendments that will be on the upcoming election ballot.

Marilyn Crotty will be the moderator for the voter forum.

Crotty is the retired director for the Florida Institue of Government at the University of Central Florida. Marilyn Crotty came up with the five amendments while she was on the advisory committee as they studied the cities charter.
