Bomb Threat at Meadowbrook Church (Update)

OCALA, Fla. — The Ocala Police Department confirmed there was no evidence of any bomb-making material in the subject’s home.

The investigation concluded that there were no direct threats made to any individual or to the church.

The 24-year-old male has been Baker Acted by OPD four times and is believed to be experiencing psychosis as a result of being off of his medication.

He has been Baker Acted so he may receive a mental health evaluation and treatment.

There will be no criminal charges.
