LEESBURG – Leesburg Police have identified the woman who was struck while trying to cross Highway 27 on her bicycle in Leesburg Tuesday afternoon.On September 6,

According to Leesburg’s Lt. Joe Iozzi, 34-year-old Heather Scott was attempting to cross Highway 27 in front of the Aldi’s shopping center while riding her bicycle when she was struck by a 2008 gold Dodge Ram 1500 driven by 37-year-old Peter P. Jacques of Lady Lake.On September 6,

Scott was airlifted to Ocala Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
